Recommended single-shelf CoreLite furniture kit for the Paragon Pearl-4426.

Included:

1 - CL42x24x1 CoreLite Shelf (42” x 24” x 1”)

8 – 1/2” long, 1” wide Square Posts

1 lb. Bag Glass Separator

Rigid fiber furniture kit (also called a shelf kit) for the GL-44 series, Pearl-44 series, and equivalent sized kilns.

The light-weight ceramic fiber shelf has been rigidized and planed flat. Note: Leave the shelf in the kiln between firings--excessive handling will degrade the shelf. Since the fiber shelf does not store heat, it can cool faster than the glass. Therefore, crash cooling the kiln can shock the glass.

Coat the new shelf with glass separator. Use firing paper between the glass and the shelf. This will protect the back of the glass from the inevitable surface imperfections in the delicate shelf.

This shelf kit is available only with the purchase of a new kiln, because we do not ship the shelf separately.

1 - 42" long x 20" wide x 1 1/2" thick ceramic fiber shelf

3 - 18" long, 1 1/2" wide square posts
