For North American heat treaters who don't have access to 240V, the Cube 7 is made just for you. Cube 7 heat treat oven is designed to operate from the North American standard household voltage of 120V.

The Cube 7 model is very capable of reaching temperature, however they will take about twice as long to get there than a comparable 240V model. Generally speaking they will reach 1650°F in about 1-1/2 hours.

Heat treating requires the removing of some very hot material from the chamber in order to quench. Everything in the chamber is hot, which includes the door. The doors on the KH's swing out and to the side. This puts the super-heated door well away from you as you concentrate on the work at hand.

Cool Touch Handle
The handle/latch on our swing out door is conveniently located at the front of the door, not hidden along the side. This spring loaded, phenolic handle is cool to the touch, is one-handed in design and serves as the door latch as well.

Relay Access Port
All Cube 7s incorporate our Relay Access Port for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement.

Simply remove the access plate to gain access to the relay. There's no need to remove the control panel and dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and all it takes is a screwdriver!

It's a given that mechanical relays will fail at some point. This relay access port really comes in handy when they do.

Door Shield
The Cube 7's feature a door shield to provide protection against firebrick damage as well as to reduce the temperature seen at the door and door handle.

Swing View Equipped
Our TAP II and Rampmaster temperature controls are fitted to our Swing View Adjustable Enclosure.
The swing view is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows you to rotate the control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. Once you're done, lay it back down to see it from across your shop. It's that simple.
The swing view pairs well with touchscreen controls like the TAP II as viewing angle can be perfectly aligned. You'll love it.

Firebrick Construction
Like all our heat treat ovens, KH models are built completely of firebrick.
Firebrick has the desired characteristic of storing heat and then releasing it slowly and gently during the soak/hold portion of the process. It's this particular quality that serves the heat treat process so well.

Loud Alarm Output Jack
A Loud Alarm output jack is included to connect our optional Loud Alarm. Enjoy 80db of irritating alarm bliss and never miss another quench.

2350°F Maximum Temperature
The maximum usable temperature for the Cube 7 is 2350°F (1287°C). This maximum is well within the range for the vast majority of steels used by knife makers and machine shops.

Our Cube 7 model features a back and side element.
Maximum temperature is limited by the heating element wire used. We use a Sandvik Nickel-Chrome alloy wire for all Cube 7 heating elements. This alloy has proven to last, it tends to stay put and generally plays very nice when used at temps below 2350°F.
To assist you in replacing worn items we have included a maintenance parts tag indicating the proper Evenheat part numbers for anticipated maintenance items.
Wish we had this decades ago.

Strong Stand and Tool Rest
Stands are strong and include a tool rest. Cool!

Power Interrupt Switch Equipped
The Power Interrupt Switch removes power from all heating elements as the door is opened and re-applies power as the door is closed.

The switch used for this feature is a true safety switch and is designed specifically for safety applications. This safety switch will literally tear apart and open any welded or stuck contacts - true safety!
