Kiln Delivery Process

Freight Shipping Information

-Residential Freight Delivery

All kilns shipped to a residence (any location without a commercial loading dock or forklift) will be delivered via freight truck with lift gate service.
The lift gate will lower your kiln to the curb.

Note: The driver will not move the pallet beyond the curbside drop-off point.

-Delivery Appointment Required

The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
You must answer this call to avoid delays.

If you're unreachable, the shipment may be returned to Evenheat and additional fees may apply.

-Changes After Shipment

Need to update your order after it has shipped?
Changes to your phone number, delivery address, or any added services will result in extra charges from the freight carrier.

-Inspect Your Shipment

Before the driver leaves, carefully inspect your kiln and all contents:

  • Open the box

  • Check the kiln inside and out

  • Look for any visible damage

Don’t sign the delivery receipt until you've completed your inspection.

-If Your Kiln Arrives Damaged

If damage is found during delivery:

  1. Note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt

  2. Refuse the shipment if the kiln is visibly damaged

  3. Take photos of the damage, on and off the truck if possible

  4. Contact us

We’ll help file a claim and arrange a replacement if needed—handled on a case-by-case basis.
