W-14-4 Digital Jewelry Kiln

The W-14-4 is made of durable insulating firebrick. The digital controller saves time, makes casting more reliable, and gives consistently repeatable results. The 12-key Sentry controller has 3 built-in, easy-to-use programs: EL wax elimination, 5 hour burnout, and 12 hour burnout. You can also enter your own programs with up to 20 segments for your exact needs. Includes an on-off toggle switch.

The W-14-4 has a heavy-gauge stainless steel case to resist corrosion. Heating elements are recessed to protect the element, yet the element is still accessible for easy replacement. This furnace also includes two top vents with ceramic plugs for lost wax burnout. A spring door latch tightly seals the door while permitting easy opening with one hand for removal of hot flasks.

Thermocouple with “special limit” wire

The thermocouple senses temperature inside the kiln. It is the small rod that extends into the firing chamber. The ¼” wide Type-K, 14-gauge, exposed-tip thermocouple is made with special-limit wire for superior accuracy. The exposed tip gives the controller a fast response time for even temperatures during holds. The thermocouple is made in America to our exacting standards.

Designed for production

Paragon’s warranty is not affected by frequency of use. Fire your new kiln every day if you want, even in commercial settings. That will have no effect on the warranty period.

WAX TRAY AND GRATE, W13/W14, 12.5" x 12.5". Leave the heavy-duty grate in the kiln throughout the firing. Remove the wax tray at 300F/148C without disturbing the molds on the grate. The grate is carbon steel, and the pan is stainless steel.
