Paragon W-14-4 Digital Jewelry Kiln – Reliable, Precise, and Durable for Lost Wax Casting
The Paragon W-14-4 is a specialized kiln designed for jewelers and metal casters who demand precision and consistency. Constructed from durable insulating firebrick with a heavy-gauge stainless steel case, this kiln offers long-lasting corrosion resistance and reliable performance for lost wax burnout and wax elimination.
Equipped with a 12-key Sentry digital controller, the W-14-4 provides three built-in programs including EL wax elimination, 5-hour burnout, and 12-hour burnout cycles. You can also program up to 20 custom segments for exact firing needs, saving time and ensuring repeatable results with every use. The easy-to-use toggle on/off switch enhances operational convenience.
Designed with practical features, the kiln includes two top vents with ceramic plugs to facilitate efficient wax burnout, while the spring door latch tightly seals the door but allows easy one-handed opening for flask removal. The recessed heating elements are protected yet accessible for straightforward replacement, ensuring low maintenance.
The kiln uses a 14-gauge Type-K thermocouple with special limit wire for superior temperature accuracy and fast response times, essential for delicate jewelry casting processes. This thermocouple is manufactured in America to the highest standards.
Ideal for production settings, the Paragon W-14-4 kiln can be fired daily without affecting its warranty, making it a dependable choice for professional jewelers and casting studios.

Thermocouple with “special limit” wireThe thermocouple senses temperature inside the kiln. It is the small rod that extends into the firing chamber. The ¼” wide Type-K, 14-gauge, exposed-tip thermocouple is made with special-limit wire for superior accuracy. The exposed tip gives the controller a fast response time for even temperatures during holds. The thermocouple is made in America to our exacting standards. |
Designed for productionParagon’s warranty is not affected by frequency of use. Fire your new kiln every day if you want, even in commercial settings. That will have no effect on the warranty period. |
